Elderberry Harvest

July 18 @ 8:00 am 11:00 am

Saturday, July 18 | 8:00–11:00 AM

Harvest berries, take home half your bounty, and help create a special collaboration brew with 1852 Brew Co.

This community harvest helps provide elderberries for Sequoia Riverlands Trust’s fundraising efforts, including a special collaboration brew with 1852 Brew Co. At the end of the event, we’ll split each participant’s harvest 50/50. You’ll take home half and we’ll use the other half to support our mission.

No experience is necessary. Staff will provide guidance and harvesting supplies.

What to Expect

  • Harvesting elderberries alongside SRT staff and volunteers
  • Light outdoor activity, including walking on uneven terrain, standing, and reaching for berries
  • Learning about elderberry plants and their important to local ecosystems
  • Opportunities to connect others who enjoy conservation and stewardship

At the end of the event, we’ll weigh each participant’s harvest and split it evenly. You’ll take home half of the elderberries you harvest, and the other half will support Sequoia Riverlands Trust’s fundraising efforts.

Why It Matters

The elderberries collected during this harvest will help support upcoming fundraising events that benefit SRT’s conservation, education, and stewardship programs. By participating, attendees help create opportunities for people to connect with and care for the lands and waters of the region.
