Whether it’s a second grader spotting wildlife on a nature walk or a high school student leading a restoration project, Sequoia Riverlands Trust’s programs are designed to spark wonder, build skills, and cultivate the next generation of environmental stewards right here in California’s heartland.

Each section highlights a different way Sequoia Riverlands Trust connects people of all ages with the land, from school field trips and internships to native plant propagation and public events. A 10-month internship for high school and college students that provides a hands-on, work-based learning experience through leadership opportunities in Tulare County.
The Sequoia Environmental Education Directive is a coalition of environmental education organizations united by the goal of getting kids out into nature and linking classroom learning with real world applications through outdoor education in and around Tulare County.
