Sequoia Riverlands Trust (SRT) is a regional nonprofit land trust formed in 2000. SRT conserves the natural and agricultural legacy of the southern Sierra Nevada and San Joaquin Valley, as well as important lands in the Carrizo Plain. SRT has ambitious programs in land and conservation easement acquisition (habitat and farmland), land stewardship, restoration, conservation outreach, public policy, and outdoor education.


SEED COORDINATOR

Sequoia Riverlands Trust seeks applications from proven and emerging professionals to coordinate, develop, and support the curriculum development and strategic planning of the Sequoia Environmental Education Directive (SEED) Network, of which Sequoia Riverlands Trust is a partner. The SEED Coordinator will work within the Education Department of Sequoia Riverlands Trust, and will report directly to the Education Director.

preserve caretaker - mccarthy blue oak ranch preserve

Sequoia Riverlands Trust is seeking a part-time caretaker for the McCarthy Blue Oak Ranch Preserve. The McCarthy Blue Oak Ranch Preserve is a 900+ acre nature preserve in Springville, CA owned and managed by Sequoia Riverlands Trust. This is a part-time position to support public access and maintenance of the preserve. Potential applicants must be willing to live at the Preserve, in a newly renovated house managed by Sequoia Riverlands Trust. The Preserve Caretaker will report directly to the Land Steward.

AMERICORPS memberS 
Education Technicians

Sequoia Riverlands Trust will be hiring TWO Education Technicians for the 2023-2024 AmeriCorps Term. AmeriCorps members are full-time service members hired by the federal AmeriCorps program to serve local communities. SRT has partnered with the Sierra Nevada Alliance, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Sierra Nevada and all related watersheds. Both Education Technicians will support SRT's environmental education programs, as well as help organize and manage community outreach and volunteer stewardship events throughout the year.

STEWARDSHIP Technician
 Sequoia Riverlands Trust will also be hiring a Stewardship Technician for the 2023-2024 AmeriCorps Term. This position is also created through a partnership with the Sierra Nevada Alliance. The Stewardship Technician will be working within the Stewrdship and Conservation Departments to support restoration projects on our seven nature preserves, as well as work at our Dry Creek Nursery and help our conservation and land management efforts. The Stewardship Technician reports directly to the Land Steward.
