November 15 @ 9:00 am 1:00 pm

Join educators, students & community to discover the preserve’s geology, ecology, & history through engaging lessons and resources.

Join educators, students, and community members at Kaweah Oaks Preserve, hosted by Sequoia Riverlands Trust. Explore the preserve’s rich geology, ecology, and history while learning about oak woodland habitats, local wildlife, and the vital role of water in our region. Hands-on lessons will highlight the importance of groundwater recharge and soil health, alongside resources for oak woodland hikes and classroom activities. Together, we’ll connect science, land, and community to better understand how natural systems sustain us and how we can care for them into the future.
