Become a volunteer with Sequoia Riverlands Trust and engage yourself directly with the stewardship of the land we all love.
Join us at SRT's Herbert Wetlands Prairie Preserve for a fun day of giving back to your local environment and community! This preserve protects some of the last remaining wetlands and vernal pools in the region. Unfortunately, due to it's close proximity to major roads, the preserve is often the site of large amounts of trash. Help us clean out the canals and other wetland areas, and support the protection of these sensitive habitats and related wildlife!
We will have gloves, safety vests, trash pickers, and trash bags for volunteers attending. Please remember to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, and bring a refillable water bottle! There is no potable water or bathrooms on site. We will bring water for refilling bottles.
Please RSVP below if you are planning on joining us at this event. If you have recently tested positive for COVID, are showing symptoms, or have been in close proximity to anyone who has tested positive or is showing symptoms, please join us at a later event.
