ਡਾ. ਲੋਗਨ ਰੌਬਰਟਸਨ ਹਿਊਕਰ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ SRT ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, 2021 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਲੋਗਨ ਨੇ ਕੈਲੀਫੋਰਨੀਆ, ਗੁਆਟੇਮਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਂਡੁਰਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਰ-ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। SRT ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਅਰਾ ਤਲਹਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਘਾਟੀ ਦੀ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਗੈਰ-ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ਾ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਫੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਤਜਰਬਾ ਹੈ; ਸਟਾਫ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਕਰਨਾ, ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨਾ, ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘੀ, ਰਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨਾ। ਆਪਣੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਲੋਗਨ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਫੰਡਿੰਗ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਕਰਨ, ਨਵੇਂ ਦਾਨੀ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੈਲੀਫੋਰਨੀਆ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਸੈਂਟਾ ਬਾਰਬਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੀਐਚਡੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਬਾਰਡ ਕਾਲਜ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਆਫ਼ ਆਰਟਸ ਇਨ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਗੈਰ-ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ਾ ਬੋਰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਕੈਲੀਫੋਰਨੀਆ ਸਕੂਲ ਏਜ ਕੰਸੋਰਟੀਅਮ (CalSAC) ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਵੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਲੋਗਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਥ੍ਰੀ ਰਿਵਰਜ਼ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਫਾਰਮ 'ਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕੁੱਤਾ, ਇੱਕ ਬਿੱਲੀ, ਇੱਕ ਘੋੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਰਜਨ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।

ਫਿਲ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈਵਾਲੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟ ਭਾਈਵਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ SRT ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਾਰਜ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਫਿਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਧੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਹੈ। ਵਾਸ਼ਿੰਗਟਨ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਕੈਲੀਫੋਰਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਫਰਿਜ਼ਨੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਤੁਲਾਰੇ ਕਾਉਂਟੀ ਦੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕੋਰਟਨੀ ਬਾਰਨਸ 2016 ਵਿੱਚ SRT ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਈ। ਕੋਰਟਨੀ ਟਾਈਟਲ ਬੀਮਾ, ਐਸਕ੍ਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਰੀਅਲ ਅਸਟੇਟ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 30 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦਾ ਤਜਰਬਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਤੁਲਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੰਗਜ਼ ਕਾਉਂਟੀਆਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਾਈਟਲ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਕੋਰਟਨੀ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਗੋ ਟਾਈਟਲ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ ਜੋ "ਸਰਟੀਫਾਈਡ ਟਾਈਟਲ ਅਫਸਰ" ਬਣ ਗਈ। ਉਹ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਲਾਰੇ ਕਾਉਂਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਟਾਈਟਲ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਐਸਕ੍ਰੋ ਅਫਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਏਰੀਆ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ ਬਣ ਗਈ। ਕੋਰਟਨੀ 2007 ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਲਾਇਸੰਸਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਰੀਅਲ ਅਸਟੇਟ ਏਜੰਟ ਬਣ ਗਈ, ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਰੀਅਲ ਅਸਟੇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਹਰ ਸੀ। 

ਕੋਰਟਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਲੋਇਡ ਲੈਮਨ ਕੋਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਨਿੰਬੂ ਜਾਤੀ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਉਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਵਾਰਾ ਕੁੱਤਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਿੱਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਨਾਹ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਵੱਡੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪੋਤੇ-ਪੋਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਹਰ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਣ 'ਤੇ ਕੈਂਪਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਫੜਨਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਬਡ ਡਾਰਵਿਨ SRT ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ 30 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਤਜ਼ਰਬੇ ਨੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ, ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਸਾਹਸੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਜਨਕ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਬੈਕਪੈਕਿੰਗ, ਕਾਇਆਕਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਮੁਹਿੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਨੁਭਵੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਘੰਟੇ ਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬਿਤਾਏ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਣ, ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬਿੰਬ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੈ-ਖੋਜ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ੇਦਾਰ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਹ 1975 ਤੋਂ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਸੰਭਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਲੀਵ ਨੋ ਟਰੇਸ ਅਭਿਆਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।

Adam Livingston is Director of Planning and Policy at Sequoia Riverlands Trust and Coordinator of the Southern Sierra Partnership. Widely recognized as a leading voice on land use and conservation in the Sierra Nevada and San Joaquin Valley, Adam has built cross-sector coalitions to support conservation in city- and county-level general plan updates, regional transportation plans and other contexts. His work is informed by experience with conservation planning, in-depth policy research and collaboration with partners. He has served on multiple boards and advisory groups, and has chaired or co-chaired leadership bodies ranging from the California Economic Summit’s Ecosystem Services Team to the Tulare Regional Transportation Plan Roundtable. Adam also coordinated SRT’s successful applications for land trust accreditation and accreditation renewal.

Adam has authored or co-authored multiple reports on land use, water and conservation funding, most recently including Cropland Repurposing as a Tool for Water Sustainability and Just Land Transition in California: Review and Best Practices (2025). He holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and classics from Xavier University (2001), a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School (2004), and a Master of Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at the University of California, Santa Barbara (2012).

ਮਈ 2017 ਵਿੱਚ, ਬੇਨ ਸੇਕੋਈਆ ਰਿਵਰਲੈਂਡਜ਼ ਟਰੱਸਟ ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕੈਬਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਲੌਰੀ ਸਪਰਿੰਗਵਿਲ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ 17 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਸੈਨ ਜੋਆਕੁਇਨ ਵੈਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਬੈਨ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਟੀਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ, ਘੋੜਿਆਂ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੁੱਤਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ, ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਨ ਕਦਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਕੈਰਨ ਕੋਲ ਅਕਾਊਂਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ਾ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੇਖਾ/ਵਿੱਤ ਦਾ 20 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦਾ ਤਜਰਬਾ ਹੈ। ਕੈਰਨ ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਟੀਮ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਮੂਹਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ SRT ਵਿਖੇ ਵਿੱਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਲੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕੈਰਨ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ, ਪੜਚੋਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੋਟੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਲੈਣਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

Jason serves as Investments and Partnerships Officer, focusing on building meaningful relationships with major donors who are passionate about land conservation and public access across the region. In this role, he connects individuals and partners with SRT’s mission to protect and steward the Central Valley’s natural and agricultural landscapes.

Jason brings a background in residential real estate, where he worked as a licensed broker specializing in new construction. That experience gave him a strong foundation in client relationships, communication, and translating complexity into understandable language — skills that now serve him well in advancing conservation through philanthropy and partnership.

A native of the Central Valley, Jason was born and raised in Visalia and graduated with a Bachelor’s in History from Fresno State. Growing up fishing, camping, and exploring open spaces instilled a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and a deep belief in protecting these places for future generations.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys cooking, fishing, and spending time in the mountains with his wife Emily and their dog Charlotte.

Ian joined the Sequoia Riverlands Trust team in 2017 as a Wildlife Technician and has since served as an Assistant Conservation Biologist, Conservation Biologist, and now as the Carrizo Land Steward.

With a master’s degree in Biological Sciences from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Conservation and Management from Humboldt State, Ian has over a decade of experience working with wildlife in research and management capacities. He has worked with a range of species but especially those in the San Joaquin Valley including giant kangaroo rats, San Joaquin antelope squirrels, blunt-nosed leopard lizards, burrowing owls, San Joaquin kit fox, vernal pool fairy shrimp and California tiger salamanders.

Having grown up on the Central Coast where he spent much of his childhood outdoors hiking with family and playing sports, Ian is a lifelong Californian. He now lives in Atascadero with his wife and kids, and together they enjoy traveling, wildlife-ing and spending time in the many beautiful outdoor spaces in California and beyond. Ian enjoys working towards a world where people and nature coexist sustainably.

Growing up in the mountains of Central Idaho, Emily developed an early appreciation for land’s role in developing community and identity. After studying Political Science and Environmental Studies at Boston College, she joined Sequoia Riverlands Trust, where she serves as the Conservation Outreach & Resilience Manager.

In her role, Emily is the entry point for landowners curious about conservation easements and other options to protect their properties. She also edits Roots magazine and leads public outreach efforts that connect people to the landscapes that sustain them. She brings particular energy to building bridges among the diverse stakeholders who make lasting conservation possible and more impactful. What draws her most to SRT’s mission is the conviction that conserving land also serves people.

When she’s not working, you might find Emily on a trail, fly fishing, or deepening her practice as a certified yoga instructor.

Nicole Buckner serves as Education & Volunteer Coordinator for Sequoia Riverlands Trust, where she coordinates field trips, school programs, and volunteer initiatives that connect students, families, and community members with the region’s natural landscapes. She works closely with educators and partners to create meaningful outdoor learning experiences, while ensuring programs run smoothly from planning through completion.

Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and previously worked as a multi-subject tutor in the Bay Area, which strengthened her passion for education and youth engagement. Her lifelong love of the outdoors and desire to help others connect with nature led her to conservation work.

Originally from the Midwest, Nicole now calls the Central Valley home and is dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship and community connection through accessible outdoor programs. She is particularly inspired by SRT’s mission to connect people with nature through education and hands-on experiences.

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys exploring local trails, creating fiber art projects, playing board games, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with her cats.

Angela Delahoussaye is SRT’s Communications Manager, translating conservation into stories people can see themselves in. Her work is grounded in one belief: people protect what they understand—and they understand what they feel connected to.

With a background in nonprofit communications and graphic design, Angela blends visual storytelling with big-picture strategy to shape the organization’s voice. She led the evolution of Vistas into a biannual print publication, helped produce the most successful fundraiser in SRT’s history, and led a record-setting year-end campaign.

Originally from Gilroy—the garlic capital of the world—Angela first fell in love with the Central Valley while studying at Fresno Pacific University. After years in the Bay Area, she and her husband, Michael, chose Visalia as the place to build a life, drawn by the Sierra Nevada skyline, a strong sense of community, and the rare privilege of living near both working lands and wild spaces.

When she’s not writing about conservation, Angela’s behind a camera, nerding out over physics and filmmaking, or keeping up with Bucky, her English Golden Retriever.

As HR & Operations Manager at Sequoia Riverlands Trust, Regina Cowdrey Ivie brings nearly a decade of organizational experience and more than 25 years of professional expertise in finance and insurance to her role. Having served previously as Accounting Manager, Regina offers a deep institutional knowledge that supports the organization’s operational strength and long-term sustainability. In her current role, she oversees human resources and daily operations, helping ensure that the team has the structure, support, and systems needed to advance SRT’s conservation mission.

Born and raised in California’s Central Valley, Regina’s connection to the region runs deep. She grew up on a farm surrounded by cotton, corn, and alfalfa fields—an experience that shaped her appreciation for working lands and the importance of preserving them. Although she spent nearly a decade away, the Central Valley has always been home.

Regina is passionate about protecting the agricultural landscapes and natural resources that define the region, ensuring they remain for future generations.

Lacy joined Sequoia Riverlands Trust as a preserve caretaker in ਜਨਵਰੀ 2024. She credits growing up in Colorado with initially fostering her appreciation for natural landscapes and wildlife. At SRT she enjoys repurposing her previous landscaping experience for the goal of ecological restoration and learning more about the unique landscapes of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

Razan Altareb is a Marketing and Communications Intern at Sequoia Riverlands Trust, where she supports storytelling and digital communications that connect people to the land, wildlife, and communities of the Central Valley. Through her work, she helps share and strengthen SRT’s mission of conserving and caring for the region’s natural and agricultural landscapes.

Razan brings a background in nonprofit marketing and event support, with additional experience in tutoring throughout high school and university, which informs her ability to communicate ideas in clear and engaging ways. She approaches communication with a focus on clarity and creativity, with an emphasis on making information feel approachable and engaging across different audiences.

Born and raised in the Central Valley, Razan has a strong personal connection to the region and a deep appreciation for the natural spaces that are part of everyday life here. Her interest in conservation is rooted in a lifelong love of nature and animals, and a belief in protecting the places that bring people and communities together.

Outside of work, Razan enjoys expressing her creativity through nail art and fashion, spending time outdoors on quiet nature walks, and being with her cats, who she considers family.

Zach Arnold serves as an Education Technician with Sequoia Riverlands Trust through the AmeriCorps program where he helps connect students with the natural world through hands-on environmental education. Through field trips and outdoor learning experiences, he introduces students to local ecosystems while encouraging curiosity, stewardship, and a deeper appreciation for the unique landscapes of California’s Central Valley. For Zach, environmental education is ultimately about helping people—creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, curiosity, and meaningful connections with the outdoors.

Originally from Colorado, Zach moved to the Central Valley at age 12 and later attended the University of Denver before returning to the region he considers home. His lifelong love of the outdoors—from backpacking in remote wilderness areas to harvesting native plants like elderberries—continues to shape his passion for sharing nature with others. He finds particular fulfillment in helping people experience outdoor spaces that may otherwise be out of reach.

Before joining SRT, Zach worked with the Tulare City School District as the lead of the Crew program at Los Tules Middle School, supporting youth development and behavioral growth. He also served as a Civil and Family Law Legal Clerk at the Tulare County Superior Court. In addition, Zach holds a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo and owns and operates Yom Chi CA, a martial arts studio in Visalia, where he continues mentoring youth and fostering personal growth.

Dennis Tristao joined the SRT Board of Directors in late 2021 with over 30 years of experience working in the agricultural industry as an agronomist, executive overseeing environmental compliance for crop production and food processing services, and as a policy advocate who has influenced state and national legislation concerning agricultural and environmental issues. He has played an integral role in aligning agricultural producers with researchers and government regulators to create successful partnerships between stakeholders to address air quality from an agricultural perspective, and has, and remains, involved with producers, agricultural grower associations, and Resource Conservation Districts to foster locally led concepts in addressing environmental resource concerns. Nationally, he was appointed to the United States Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Air Quality Task Force, where their efforts resulted in the Memorandum of Understanding between the USDA and EPA on agricultural air quality research, the establishment of a research priority and funding recommendation, and a recommendation for national policy on implementing a voluntary incentive-based compliance strategy for agricultural producers. Mr. Tristao retired from an internationally known agricultural farming and processing corporation, however, through ADSUM SJV, INC., he continues to institute compliance programs and address State and federal environmental issues related to agriculture.

Darlene is the CEO of the Wukchumni Tribe nonprofit and Chairperson of the Wukchumni Tribal Council. Darlene also serves as a board member of the Quaker Oaks Farm, the Marigold Foundation, Fresno American Indian Health Project and Sequoia Riverlands Trust. Darlene recently completed a 2-year commitment for the Agriculture Land Equity Task Force for the State of California’s Strategic Growth Council.

Having grown up in Visalia, Darlene is deeply rooted in her native cultural practices. She was mentored as a basket weaver by her maternal grandmother, Beatrice Wilcox Arancis, and carries on the traditional teachings of her mother Martha Tapleras and many other elders. She and her late husband Lalo Franco raised three children Lahoci, Yaynicut and Kowonash. As parents, it was important to bring back the traditional naming ceremonies and continue the teachings that had been instilled in them.

In response to the pandemic, Darlene developed the Wukchumni Farms to meet the needs of her Wukchumni people. What started as a community garden has grown to producing fresh foods, medicinal plants, seed saving, composting, nursery, basket weaving materials and chicken eggs. The Wukchumni Food Pantry distributes food to the community each week.

Darlene also oversees the Youth Program that offers a Native Services Boys and Girls Club, prevention activities through the Elevate Youth Program, Wukchumni Language & Culture, Land
Restoration and the Wukchumni Community Land Trust, where a housing project is underway.

SRT’s mission, “Conserving the Lands and Waters of California’s Heartland,” resonates deeply with Darlene as she is committed to this while honoring her ancestors and serving her people.

Stephanie Ruiz serves as Program Manager for the Greater Kaweah Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA), where she works to implement the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) at the local level. Over the past eight years, she has built her career in agriculture, steadily expanding her focus to water management and policy—issues that sit at the heart of the Central Valley’s future.

In her role, Stephanie navigates the complex intersection of land use, groundwater sustainability, and public agency governance. Her work requires balancing regulatory compliance with the needs of local agriculture and rural communities, often making difficult decisions with long-term implications. She brings to the board experience in water policy, stakeholder engagement, public meeting facilitation, and collaborative decision-making across diverse interests.

The Central Valley is both Stephanie’s professional focus and her community. She believes land and water are foundational to the region’s identity, economy, and way of life, and that responsible stewardship ensures future generations can continue to farm, live, and thrive here. She was drawn to Sequoia Riverlands Trust for its commitment to conserving working landscapes through practical, locally driven solutions that honor both environmental stewardship and agricultural viability.

Daniel J. Frea is a corporate and real estate attorney at Wanger Jones Helsley PC, where his practice focuses on agribusiness, land, and natural resource–related transactions. He works with agricultural families, landowners, lenders, and organizations to structure durable solutions around farmland ownership, water rights, succession planning, and long-term stewardship. Drawing on both legal training and firsthand agricultural experience, Daniel operates at the intersection of business, land use, and conservation-minded outcomes.

Daniel advises clients on farmland and water acquisitions, secured financings, joint ventures, and governance matters, with an emphasis on practical structuring, risk management, and long-term alignment among stakeholders. His ability to translate between legal, financial, and agricultural perspectives reflects the balance required to protect working lands while sustaining regional economies.

Before joining Wanger Jones Helsley, Daniel practiced corporate law at a top-ranked Northern California firm, focusing on emerging company financings and mergers and acquisitions. He earned his J.D. from UC Davis School of Law and holds a B.S. in Agricultural Sciences from Cornell University.

Raised in the Central Valley and actively involved in his family’s dairy and almond farming operations in Easton, California, Daniel brings both professional expertise and personal commitment to land stewardship. He joined the Sequoia Riverlands Trust board to help ensure that farmland, water resources, and conservation priorities remain thoughtfully aligned for future generations.
