Gregory joined Sequoia Riverlands Trust in 2021 as a Land Steward Associate after transitioning from a career in agriculture. He was born and raised in Dinuba, California and holds a BA in History from San Francisco State University (2012) as well as an AS in Natural Resources from Reedley College (2019). While attending the Reedley Forestry & Natural Resources program he became committed to landscape conservation and was employed by the school to maintain a riparian habitat corridor and associated trails along the Kings River. He is currently enrolled in the Johns Hopkins University Cultural Heritage Management MA program. He is an enthusiastic bird watcher, hiker, and road cyclist, writes journals and poetry, and practices photography, sketching and landscape painting. The fragmented natural beauty of the San Joaquin Valley and the vast wilderness of the Sierra Nevada inspires Gregory in all of his activities and work.
