VISALIA, CA — [Friday, August 1, 2025] — Sequoia Riverlands Trust (SRT), a nonprofit land trust dedicated to conserving the natural and agricultural legacy of California’s heartland, is now accepting applications for its Board of Directors. The organization invites community members who are passionate about land stewardship, equity, and environmental resilience to apply for this meaningful leadership opportunity.
Applications are open through September 30, 2025.
“This is a pivotal time to shape the future of land conservation in the San Joaquin Valley,” said Stacie Ann Silva, Board Chair of SRT. “We’re looking for board members who bring not just professional experience, but a deep commitment to their community and the land we share.”

Directors meet quarterly and contribute to long-term planning, fundraising, governance, and outreach efforts.
