Photography

SRT’s preserves make for lovely photos. Whether you are an amateur shutterbug or a seasoned professional, you will find it hard to resist the allure of colorful spring greens, majestic oak trees beneath views of the High Sierra, stark foggy winter atmospheres, and cattle roaming in a bucolic setting.

Visitors with a camera or smartphone can take photos at our open preserves without a permit. Photo permits are required for portrait photographers providing a service to a client. Paid or otherwise.

You never know what you might see at our preserves – bobcats, lizards, birds of all shapes and sizes, coyotes, squirrels, rabbits, and other species. Keep those cameras handy!

Professional Photography Permits

SRT does require that professional photographers purchase an annual permit. Photo permits are required for portrait photographers providing a service to a client. Paid or otherwise. Yearly permits start at $225 and may be purchased below.

The SRT preserve in your shot must be identified in any advertising or communications materials, including print, websites, and other electronic distribution channels.
