Professional Photography Permits
SRT’s preserves make for lovely photos. Whether you are an amateur shutterbug or a seasoned professional, you will find it hard to resist the allure of colorful spring wildflowers, majestic oak trees, and cattle roaming in a bucolic setting.
Amateurs with a camera or phone can practice their shots at our open preserves without a permit, although if the shoot may disturb others we do request you contact us first. This will ensure the best possible results for you and our other visitors.
But SRT does request that professional photographers get an annual permit and schedule any shoots with SRT so that we may coordinate with other land users. Yearly permits will increase in price to $200 starting in January 2016.
SRT and the shoot location must be attributed in any advertising or communications materials, including print, websites, and other electronic distribution channels. Commercial shoots are subject to different guidelines. Contact SRT’s Communication Director Aaron Collins for more information.
You can purchase a permit through our online secure giving form by clicking here.
You never know what you might see at our preserves – bobcats, lizards, birds of all shapes and sizes, coyotes, squirrels, rabbits, and other species.
