SequoiaFest is back on October 4

September 19, 2018 by Diane

With temperatures cooling off a bit and days getting darker earlier every day, it's time to embrace and celebrate all that is fall. For SRT and our partner Sequoia Brewing Co., that means beer and brats!

So we're preparing for the next SequoiaFest, our semi-annual celebration of all things Sequoia. This fall's event will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, October 4 at Garden Street Plaza in downtown Visalia.

Besides great beer (and root beer) and a yummy food menu (including desserts), we'll be serving up some fun live music from Andrew Kenefick and his band, Bigfoot and the Moon. As always, admission to the event is free.Sequoia Brewing donates 50% of beer profits to SRT, so you're drinking for a cause.

Sequoia Brewing Co. is working on a new batch of our Kaweah Oaks Preserve Elderberry Trail Ale, which we hope will be ready in time for the event. We're also looking at selling a few "crowlers" of ETA later this fall, so stay tuned for details.

If you can't get enough of Sequoia Brewing's tasty eats and drinks, make sure you come to the Visalia location between 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9 for the second Nature on Tap dine-in fundraiser.. Sequoia Brewing will generously donate 15% of all food and drink orders during that period to SRT. You have to eat, why not eat well while helping out a worthy cause.

So come enjoy the cooler weather and some hearty food with your friends at SRT. Staff will be on hand at both SequoiaFest and Nature on Tap, ready to answer your questions and hoist a cold one with you!
