SequoiaFest 2 happening October 12

September 21, 2017 by Diane

If you came to the first SequoiaFest back in May you know what a great time it was. Wonderful food and beverages from Sequoia Brewing Co., rockin' music and a great group of people coming together for a common cause.
That night we decided we should do it again. So we are, from 5-10 p.m. Thursday, October 12 at Garden Street Plaza in downtown Visalia, it's SequoiaFest 2 - and it's still free!
The event celebrates not just the great work SRT does protecting land and native species, but our friendship with Sequoia Brewing. Like most of you, we like beer - and our beer-making friends at Sequoia Brewing love the outdoors. It's a match made in heaven!
The Sequoia Brewing folks are just as excited as we are to do this event again. They'll be selling tri-tip sandwiches and sausages, each with a side of potato salad and pasta salad, plus four of their great beers: Del Oro, Big Horn Red IPA, Black Oak Porter .... and a very special beer we'll be telling you all about soon. Root beer too! Oh, and pie! Yes, we hear that their chef has a very special pie for the menu as well. Yum, pie...
The night wouldn't be complete without music, so local band Moose Crossing will be appearing doing their great Americana-style sound. You can dance the night away, as long as you don't spill your Sequoia Brewing Beer. We'll also start the evening with cello music from Rob Hodges.
SRT staff will also be on hand selling some of our fab new logo swag, like shirts and water bottles. They make great gifts, so buy at least two of everything.
Come celebrate SRT, beer and the cooler weather we've all been waiting for with this very special event. See you there!
