Event Details: Sequoia Riverlands Trust will be holding a community event for volunteers to assist us in appreciating and caring for our community’s most popular nature preserve!
When: September 8, 2012
Where: Kaweah Oaks Preserve
Why: To have fun caring for our preserve and say thanks to our volunteers!
Eats: Please join us for a light breakfast and a picnic afterwards!
Bring: water, sun block, hat, friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors!
Activities include:
Trail building and maintenance
Native seed collection and cuttings for planting and transplanting
Seed plantings for our restoration nursery
Invasive species removal
Games and activities for kids

Directions: KOP is located east of Visalia, California. Travel seven miles east of downtown Visalia via Highway 198. Drive north on Road 182 one-half mile. The parking lot is on the west side of the road.
