SRT debuts new logo

SRT debuts new logo

SRT is always on the move, constantly growing and changing. That's why last year our staff created new mission and vision statements as well as a new strategic plan.

With all that accomplished, it was time to take a look at our corporate image, specifically our branding, leading us to a new logo. We spent several months on this process, working with experts in the design field to help us craft a new logo that will show who SRT is now.

The image here shows our new logo, a colorful, motion-filled design that stands out from the crowd. Where most land trusts use peaceful images of birds, water and plants, we wanted to show our home, California's Central Valley, and all its colors - from brown dirt to green trees, from blue waters to brighter foothills, from snow-capped mountains to blue sky. This contemporary design does all that in a way that implies movement - because our landscapes and SRT are changing in many ways.

We've also updated our tag line to go along with the new logo. "Serving land and people," says just what we do - it's not an either/or for SRT.

Be on the lookout for new SRT logo items in the coming months - T-shirts and hats, stickers and mugs, water bottles and more. We think this new image is one you'll want to see on all your stuff!
